What does bidirectional mean on this board?

The PU1500 works in both directions: it inverts battery power to AC for your loads, and it charges the battery back from AC mains. That makes it the core board for UPS-style inverters and backup systems. Ask us for the charging current of the version you need when you enquire.

What power and battery voltages does it cover?

This board is rated 1500W continuous with 3000W peak, in 12V, 24V and 48V versions. The PU board series covers 1500W, 2000W and 3000W.

What protections does the board provide?

Low-voltage alarm and shutdown, over-voltage, overload, over-temperature, short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection, with the thresholds listed in the parameter table above.

Is this a complete inverter or a board?
